Central Virginia is rich in activities ranging from Winery tours, Monticello and Ash Lawn tours and Festivals, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive, and just plain beautiful countryside in every direction! If you enjoy driving your own car to events, or if you'd rather go on the Activity Bus, there is never a shortage of outings to delight the soul!

For fun closer to home, our Activities department keeps a close eye on the calendar, and organizes gala events for just about every holiday except maybe Groundhog Day!

Our Activity Team is always on the prowl for anything exciting happening in the community! We recently started going out just after dark around Christmas to marvel at the incredible decorations in the community. This year we'll begin a tradition of venturing out for local fireworks over July 4th! Seniors like to get out at night too!

Scheduled Activities In and Around Martha Jefferson House: Trips to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, with a private guided tour just for us! Trips to surrounding Wineries Scenic Drives all around Central Virginia Special Shopping excursions...and who doesn't LOVE to shop!
